Now, as promised, Stabbing Westward is officially back with their first full-length LP in 20 years, Chasing Ghosts, which is set to drop on March 18, 2022, via COP International Records. Then, out of nowhere, the band returned with their first proper release in two decades, the three-song EP Dead & Gone, the first official new music since 2001. In 2015, frontman Christopher Hall reformed the band, which began touring to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary, which eventually led to the release of a (very hard to get) new song on the Cold Waves VI compilation back in 2017. It’s been 20 years since Chicago-based industrial rock band Stabbing Westward released their self-titled LP that led to their eventual breakup and forming of The Dreaming (if you enjoy Stabbing Westward, there are some fantastic songs in their discography). Head over to Waxwork’s website for more details! It’ll run you $250 within the United States, and $285 for Canada and International. The 2018 subscription package goes on sale this Friday, November 24.
